MYLEG

The Zurich-based start-up MYLEG was founded by Giacomo Valle, Andrea Cimolato, Stanisa Raspopovic and Greta Preatoni. MYLEG helps to improve the mobility of amputees with a wearable robotic device that restores sensory feedback through non-invasive electrical stimulation of the skin on the remaining part of the leg.
The start-ups long-term vision is to improve mobility and the cognitive integration of prostheses in amputees’ daily lives, thereby blurring the boundaries between functional prosthesis use everyday life. Because lower limb amputees should get the opportunity to live a near-normal and independent life free from restrictions and pain.
